About Us

The Carrier Bag Company is the e-commerce division of Thomas Norman UK Ltd.

With a tradition of over one hundred years of manufacturing specialist packaging for the Retail Industry we aim to please even the most discerning customer.

Thomas Norman founded the company in the 1840’s when he began making hat boxes for the pre-eminent retailers of his time in London. We still make hat boxes to this day and for some of the same customers as Mr Norman did business with!

Today we supply both large and small retail customers with bespoke and stock packaging such as Carrier Bags, Suit Covers, Re-Usable Bags, Paper Carrier Bags, Ribbons, Tissue Paper & Gift Wrap.

The Carrier Bag Company aims to open this range of products to a larger market by discounting our prices and allowing customers to purchase directly on-line.
